At first attempt of using this compressor the shutoff did not work, pop off kept activating and compressor would continue to run. After getting that fixed I may have used this compressor 15-20 times within the last 14 months and the garbage MAT Industries electric motor blew sparks all over my shop and shut down. Internal issues and out of warranty. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!

This is the second air compressor (both exactly the same). I bought one 3 years ago from HD for my shop and I have all the compressed air I will ever need.
So when my son was finishing up a new shop for his home and it just happened to his birthday it was a no brainer. He needs an air compressor, so from experience, I bought one exactly like mine. He loves it.
With the pandemic and all that uncertainty. Also, Home Depot always having issues with special orders I chose “Air Compressors Direct” glad I did. Order was delivered on time to the house and I saved money. I will always check out “A.C. Direct” before I buy anything in the air related department.
