This reliable unit from the folks at Eagle features rugged cast iron cylinder sleeves and a "V" design to minimizes vibration, improve cooling, and extend the life of the compressor.

The single phase, 208-230V motor supplies enough power for the small shop or serious hobbyist. This compressor was built to work hard and last a long time. The cast iron pump also was designed with removable cylinders for smoother operation and easy maintenance.

A nice touch is the convenient oil drain on the front of the unit and an easily-viewed oil sight glass. An extended warranty to 2-years with the purchase of a maintenance kit at the time of purchase is offered to protect your investment even longer.

Pros:
Easy To Use, Price
Good For Hobby User But Not Heavy Use

I am a professional maintenance technician. Installed this unit to operate pneumatics in a car wash. It had 3 issues in the first month. The plastic air line that feeds to the pressure switch leaked so I had to repair and install a new brass ferrule. The drive pulley on the motor vibrated loose and shredded the belt. Had to realign pulley and replace belt. It shakes the belt cover pretty bad which is just an annoyance. You cannot just place this on the concrete without bolting down. The vibrations will cause it to walk on you. You should put it on pads and bolt down anyway but figured I'd mention that just in case you were thinking of not bolting it down.

Everything Was Great Right Out Of The Package

Delivery was excellent, and no damages or scratches I finally got it plugged in and working. I had to wait for an electrician to run the plug and for the automatic drain valve to arrive so I could install everything. The compressor is quieter than most, and it performs excellent for now time will tell. I'll try to give an update a year from now.

Good Value

It’s definitely a step above what I was using. If you plan on doing a lot of autobody work you may want to step up a size, however for the home weekend mechanic and occasional paint and body it is just fine. I put mine outside in a covered shed because I thought it would be loud in the shop but it’s actually pretty quiet. No problems so far on a 30 amp circuit with 10 gauge stranded wire. I did have to add some oil to the pump that had leaked out. It shipped quickly though and I am satisfied with both the product and service I received.
